GTA V is crashing Xbox 360s manufactured before 2009

One of the benefits of creating a game for consoles is the hardware remains a constant platform. For several years the same platform can be targeted, and a new game will play on even the oldest models of that console. Or will it? There’s growing concerns that GTA V is unplayable on older models of the Xbox 360, to the point where it is freezing up and crashing consoles.
